USTC students block road to protest attack

Students of University of Science and Technology, Chittagong (USTC) here blockaded Zakir Hossain Road for over one hour yesterday protesting an attack on a fellow student by locals. Sources said a scuffle broke out between MBA student Manju and local boy Russell on Tuesday centring payment of arrears at a shop near the university. Protesting the incident, the classmates of Manju brought out a protest procession on the busy road around 12:30pm and also put up a barricade on the road.
