Road crashes kill 2

Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Natore and Dinajpur in the last two days. A correspondent in Natore reports: An elederly person was killed in a road accident on Natore-Pabna highway at Garmati of Baraygram upazila in the district yesterday afternoon. The victim was identified as Abu Bakkar, 60. The accident took place when a speeding bus hit the human hauler Abu Bakkar was travelling in, killing him on the spot. Our correspondent in Dinajpur adds: An elderly man was killed in a road accident at Nawabganj in the district on Saturday afternoon. The victim was identified as Md Abdul Hannan Kabiraj, 65. The accident took place when a Birampur-bound speeding passenger bus knocked his bicycle near Sangita intersection.
