Power, water demanded

The residents of East Rampura brought out a procession in the area yesterday demanding smooth supply of power, water and gas. Several hundred residents of the area took part in the demonstration with water containers in hand. The procession started from Rampura TV Centre and ended at Hajipara Petrol Pump. Speaking at the demonstration, one Mostafizur Rahman said the government has failed to ensure the civil amenities, including power, water and gas, causing immense suffering to the city dwellers. He urged the government to address the problems immediately.
