Foundation of 150MW power plant to be laid on Apr 25

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lay the foundation of 150MW Combined Cycle Power Plant project in Chandpur on April 25. Besides attending the function at the power plant project as the chief guest, she will also exchange views with the officials of the district administration and Awami League leaders and activists on the day. Power Development Board (PDB) on February 10 signed deals with Chinese company China Chengda Engineering Co Ltd (CCECL) to install the Chandpur Combined Cycle Power Plant.
