Stop requisitioning of cabs

Dhaka Mahanagar Taxicab Drivers' Union handed over a memorandum to the home minister at her secretariat office in the city yesterday demanding an end to forcible requisitioning of taxicabs by the police. In the memorandum, the union leaders alleged that the police requisition taxicabs for seven or eight days at a stretch and force the drivers to drive the cars without any payment.
