Programme to reduce child poverty launched
A programme titled 'Strengthening Non-State Actors' was launched yesterday with a view to reducing child poverty and promoting the rights of vulnerable children in the country.
Save the Children-UK launched the programme while it will be implemented by Prodipan, an NGO, said a press release.
Lawmaker Dr Mostafa Jalal Mahiuddin was present at the programme as the chief guest at the launching ceremony at the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPORT) auditorium in the city while Prodipan Chairman Ferdaus Ur Rahman and Save the Children-UK Country Director Saima Rahman were present.
