Muhith's condition improves
Finance Minister AMA Muhith has been recovering fast and is now in good condition, a doctor of the Square Hospital said yesterday.
“Although he [Muhith] is still in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital, he is doing well,” Prof Sanawar Hossain, director, Medical Services of the Square Hospital, told The Daily Star.
Muhith was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday morning with high blood pressure.
Asked when the minister would be able to get back to work, the doctor said, “The decision is totally up to him, but I think it would be good if he join work after 10 or 12 days.”
Meanwhile, Home Minister Sahara Khatun visited Muhith at the hospital yesterday. High officials of the home ministry and the police department accompanied her.
