Menon blames BNP, Jamaat for plotting against war crimes trial

Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon has said BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami are conspiring to foil the trial of war criminals. He said this at a two-day politburo meeting of the party where its leaders declared to hold a rally in the city's Muktangon to resist the attempt to thwart the trial. The party leaders in the meeting held on May 10 and 11 said the achievements of the government in agriculture and education sectors and diplomacy is being faded by water, power and gas crises, deterioration of law and order and tender manipulation.
