Cop's motorbike runs over seven-year-old boy
A seven-year-old boy was killed when a police officer's motorbike hit him at village Bandherhat in Bera, Pabna, yesterday morning.
The boy, Sourav Guho, son of Achinta Guha of Gopalpur village in Pabna Sadar upazila, along with his parents came to village Bandherhat to visit his grandfather's house.
He was a student of nursery section of Pabna Gopalpur Shishu Shikhha Niketan.
Family sources said the motorbike of police officer Md Piarul Islam knocked down Sourav when he was crossing the road at about 9:00am. Piarul Islam is also the head of Aminpur police camp in the upazila.
A pall of gloom descended when his parents and relatives brought the body back to their home in Pabna town at noon.
