Platform against Communalism
Prof Ajoy, Dr Noor made coordinator, member secy
Prof Ajoy Roy and Dr Noor Mohammad Talukder were elected coordinator and member secretary of the Platform against Communalism and Militancy, says a press release.
They were elected at a convention of the organisation at the Institutions of Engineers, Bangladesh on Friday.
An advisory committee was also announced at the convention. Members of the advisory committee are Col (Retd) Shawkat Ali, Prof Salahuddin Ahmed, Prof Mosharaff Hossain, Prof Zillur Rahman Siddique, Prof Anisuzzaman, AMM Shawkat Ali, Dr Abul Barakat, Maj Gen (Retd) Amin Ahmed Chowdhury, Selina Hossain, Dr Saidur Rahman, Dr Zinat Ali, Dr Hamida Hossain, poet Mahadev Saha and Mili Rahman.
