Two die in road crash
Two people, including a schoolboy, were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Tangail Sadar upazila yesterday.
The victims were identified as Fahad, 13, a class VII student and son of Mizanur Rahman of Aoliabad village in Kalihati upazila and one Chand Miah, 22, of Birbasinda village in the same upazila.
Police and witnesses said the accident took place around 11:00am on busy Dhaka-Bangabandhu Bridge highway in Rashulpur area when a Kalihati-bound CNG autorickshaw from Tangail collided head-on with a passenger bus coming from the opposite direction, leaving CNG passenger Fahad dead on the spot and three people seriously inured.
