Dhaka polytech student found dead in Narsingdi
A student of Dhaka Polytechnic Institute was found dead in Narsingdi yesterday five days after he went missing from Dhaka.
Raipura police recovered the decomposed body of Al Kausar Masud, 21, from Kakon River at 4:00pm and sent it to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
The police said his student ID card, voter ID Card and a cell phone was found in a polythene bag tied to his right leg.
Masud's father Amanat Ullah Chowdhury said his son went out of their house at Segun Bagicha in Dhaka on Wednesday and since then he had been missing.
He also filed a general diary with the Shahbagh Police Station.
Masud hailed from Hashimpur village in Laxmipur district.
