Envoy to Germany presents credentials

Newly appointed Bangladesh Ambassador to Germany Mosud Mannan presented his credentials to Federal President Dr Horst Kohler at Bellevue Palace in Berlin on May 28. During the credential presentation ceremony, the ambassador conveyed to Dr Kohler the warm greetings of President Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In response, the federal president conveyed his regards to the president and the prime minister of Bangladesh, said a foreign ministry press release. He assured the ambassador of all support and cooperation from him and the German government in his efforts to enhance friendship and cooperation between the two countries during his stay in Berlin. Mannan briefed the president on the socio-economic developments in Bangladesh.
