Two prominent doctors from Gleneagles Hospital spoke at a seminar on diseases of digestive system and liver on July 10 at a local hotel in the city. ParkwayHealth, which owns and operates Mount Elizabeth, Gleneagles and Parkway East hospital in Singapore, has organised the seminar on "Gastroenterology & Liver Diseases". The main objective of the seminar was to update people on ways for better treatment and aids to undergo appropriate medical options. Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist Dr Lui Hock Foong gave tips on preventing liver cirrhosis and cancer while Consultant General & Hepatobiliary Surgeon Dr Ravishankar Diddapur talked about single incision laparoscopic surgery. Steven Mok, country manager of ParkwayHealth gave an introductory speech while Mr Zahid Hassan Khan, director of ParkwayHealth, Dhaka liaison office concluded the event with vote of thanks.
