M A Khan's anniversary of death observed
Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral ZU Ahmed yesterday placed wreaths at the Banani Military Graveyard and offered special munajat marking the 26th death anniversary of former Naval Chief Rear Admiral Mahbub Ali Khan, says an ISPR release.
On the occasion, special doa mahfil was held at different naval ships and bases in Dhaka, Chittagong, Kaptai, Mongla and Khulna for seeking divine blessing for his departed soul. Doa mahafil was also held at his residence and sweets and foods were distributed among the orphanages.
PSO's of Naval Headquarters, high military and civil officers and large number of sailors took part in the munajat.
