Tehran varsity to open Bangla course
The Iranian ambassador to Bangladesh yesterday sought help from the vice-chancellor of Dhaka University to open a 'Bangla Language Course' in Tehran University, says a press release.
Ambassador Hossein Aminian Jousi sought the assistance while he called on DU Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique at latter's office.
During the meeting, they discussed various topics including expansion of academic cooperation between DU and Tehran University.
He also invited the VC to visit Tehran University and help open a Bengali language course in Tehran University. The ambassador assured continuation of Iran's cooperation with DU, especially in the department of Persian language and literature.
