RU Fisheries dept 10th anniversary today
Fisheries department of Rajshahi University observes its 10th founding anniversary today.
A colourful procession of teachers, students and employees will bring out from the department.
The department will organise a seminar on 'Fisheries Activities in Northern Bangladesh: Sustainable Livelihood and Climate Change Aspects' at the university Senate Bhaban.
The programmes also include discussion meeting, memory sharing session and cultural soiree.
The department started its journey in the name of Fisheries and Aquaculture with only three teachers and 20 students in 2,000.
