3 hurt while making bombs
Three young men were wounded while making bombs at Ulania Bazar of Galachipa upazila on Thursday night.
They are Saikat of Jhalakathi Sadar Upazila, Rupom of Ulania village under Galachipa upazila and Himel.
Tapon Kumer Saha, Officer-in-charge of Galachipa Police Station, said three youths were injured when they were making bombs at about 10:00pm.
“We are investigating the matter and necessary legal steps will be taken against them,” the OC added.
Of the three, Saikat was admitted to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital while Himel to Galachipa Health Complex. Rupom was given first aid at a local health complex.
A GD was filed with the police in this connection.
