Clash Over Army Housing Scheme

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) holds back the villagers who gathered to fetch their wounded fellows from near the army camps following clashes with the law enforcers. People from 30 villages of Rupganj, Narayanganj resisted a proposed army-housing scheme in the upazila leading to clashes that injured at least 50 people. The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Angry villagers vandalise the makeshift camps of the army.
