2 injured in clash at DU
Two students were injured in a clash between two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on Dhaka University (DU) campus yesterday.
Witnesses said the clash broke out between the activists of Zahurul Haq Hall and Haji Mohammad Mohsin Hall units over taking position in a procession in the morning.
The DU unit BCL brought out the procession for welcoming admission seekers to DU.
During the brief clash that lasted about 15 minutes, the feuding groups chased each other and pelted brickbats, leaving two injured.
Both the groups, however, claimed that their 10 to 15 activists were injured in the clash.
