Unb, Dhaka
BNP Secretary General Khandaker Delwar Hossain yesterday said they along with people will resist the ruling party's 'unjust and undemocratic' behaviour. "The government is running the country in fascist style. It is imposing section 144 undemocratically wherever the opposition party arranges its programmes. Killing incidents are taking place frequently as murder accused are being pardoned and released," Delwar said during a human chain programme. Under this situation BNP cannot remain silent, he told the human chain formed by Natore district BNP in front of National Press Club demanding arrest and punishment to the killers of Sanaullah Noor Babu, Boraigram upazila chairman and the party's president of the upazila. The human chain participated by leaders and workers of BNP and its front and associate organisations was continued about an hour from 11:00am. Babu was killed allegedly by Awami League terrorists at Bonpara of Boraigram in Natore district on October 8. Referring to the government's move to evict BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Dhaka cantonment residence, Delwar said what the government is doing over the residence is state terrorism. He condemned the government's such activities.
