BSMMU docs to study at Indian medical institute

Doctors of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) will get the opportunity to study at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIMS) for higher education as per a joint communiqué signed between the institutions. The signing took place after an AIMS delegation came on a 3-day visit to Bangladesh on Tuesday. The agreement is consecutive to the deals the prime minister recently signed with India, said a press release yesterday. Prof Rani Kumar, Prof Rakesh Jadob, Prof AB Dey from AIMS and Prof Pran Gopal Dutta from BSMMU singed the joint statement. The AIMS team met the PM's Health Affairs Adviser Prof Syed Modasser Ali, Health Secretary Muhammad Humayun Kabir and Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka, Rajeet Mitter. They left for Delhi on Friday.
