Bhairab Bridge named after Syed Nazrul
The government has named Bhairab Bridge on the river Meghna under the Roads and Highways Department as Syed Nazrul Islam Bridge.
Syed Nazrul Islam was acting president of Bangladesh government in exile during the War of Liberation in 1971.
