BNP men to court arrest
Opposition Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farroque yesterday said BNP leaders, lawmakers, and activists will put themselves behind bars to resist the government's move to drive Khaleda Zia out of her cantonment house.
''All the opposition lawmakers along with thousands of BNP activists across the country would willingly embrace imprisonment to resist government ill-motive regarding chairperson's house,'' he told a press briefing at parliament media centre.
Farroque claimed that the attack on his motorcade in Khagrachari was an attempt to kill him.
''The attack was simply aimed to kill me and my entourage lawmakers Shahiduddin Chowdhury Annie and Ashrafuddin Nizan.
