Teachers' training at CU Nov 7
A three-day long 'Teachers' Training Programme' on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) for faculty members of arts and social science from different universities of Bangladesh will start here from November 7.
Communication & Journalism Department of Chittagong University (CU) in association with International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will organise the programme at Hotel Lords Inn in the city.
Prof Dr Md Alauddin, pro-vice chancellor of CU, will inaugurate the programme where renowned academicians, journalists and representatives of ICRC will be present as special guests.
A total of 40 teachers from at least 10 public and private universities are expected to participate in the programme, said Mir Mosharef Hossain, chairman of the department.
