Robbers kill guard
A security guard of a housing and developers' company was strangled in its corporate office in the city's Uttara early yesterday.
Police suspect robbers rented a flat in the building of 'Nirapad Housing and Developers'in the guise of tenants to rob the office and killed security guard Jahangir Hossain, 31, as he could have known them.
He was found dead on the fourth floor of the six-storyed building at Sector-9 in the morning.
“They took away Tk 80,000 in cash, computers and other valuables from the office on the first floor after killing Jahangir”, he said.
