6 workers burnt in Ctg factory fire

Six workers were critically burnt and valuables worth Tk 5 lakh gutted in a fire at Elite Paints factory of Bayezid area in Chittagong city yesterday. With burns, Rupom Hasan, 28, Md Sohel, 26, Rup Chan, 35, Samor Dutta, 50, Md Belal, 20, and Saddam, 20, were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH). The fire originated from a short circuit, said fire officials.
