BCL activist dies mysteriously
A Bangladesh Chhatra League activist, Bachchu Miah, 28, was found dead mysteriously in the city's Akhalia area early yesterday.
Rakibuzzaman, sub-inspector of the Sylhet Kotwali Police Station, said some people left the body of Bachchu Miah at the Sylhet Medical College hospital.
He said the death is mysterious. Although there was no clear mark of injury on his body, he added.
Hospital sources said the death might have been caused by intake of excess liquor.
Bachchu Miah's brother Faruque Ahmed alleged it was a planned murder.
