Eight-day art expo begins at CU
An eight-day annual fine arts exhibition began at Shilpi Rashid Chowdhury Art Gallery of the Institute of Fine Arts of Chittagong University (CU) yesterday.
Acting Vice-chancellor CU Prof Dr Mohammad Alauddin opened the exhibition arranged by the exhibition for the first time. It will continue till June 5.
A total of 123 art works by the students of the institute are on the display. The exhibition remains open for all from 3:00pm to 8:00pm everyday.
Prof Golam Kibria Bhuiyan, dean of arts and humanities faculty, attended the function as the special guest with Professor of Fine Arts Institute Mansur-Ul-Karim in the chair.
