Today is the 23rd death anniversary of Shaheed Jamil Akhter Ratan, a former president of Rajshahi Medical College unit Bangladesh Chhatra Moitri, says a press release. On this day in 1988, Ratan was brutally killed by Shibir, a fundamentalist students' organisation.
