13 houses for hajj pilgrims

The government has rented 13 houses in the holy city of Makkah to accommodate Bangladesh's hajj pilgrims during hajj season this year. As many as 7,000 pilgrims will be accommodated in those houses. The houses are located near the Har'am Sharif. The rate of rent for each house is minimum 3,700 Saudi Real (SR) and minimum 5,000 SR. Kamal Uddin Ahmed, joint secretary to the Religious Affairs Ministry, informed this at a press conference at Secretariat yesterday afternoon.
