Peace conference begins June 4

A two-day Asia-Pacific Peace Conference begins in the city on June 4 for the third time to build a secure and hunger-free world by establishing peace. "We want to establish peace across the world raising a strong voice against imperialism, militancy and terrorism," leaders of Bangladesh Peace Council told a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club. President of Bangladesh Peace Council Abdur Razzak, MP, general secretary MA Kashem and other leaders including Rashed Khan Menon, MP, Hasanul Haque Inu, MP, Bahauddin Khan Nasim and Pankaj Devnath, among others, addressed the press conference.
