ALCWC meeting tomorrow
The Awami League Central Working Committee (ALCWC), the highest decision making body of the ruling party, sits an emergency meeting tomorrow to discuss the country's latest political situation against the backdrop of BNP-Jamaat's June 5 hartal across the country.
The meeting will be held at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's official residence Gono Bhaban at 4:00pm, deputy office secretary of Awami League Mrinal Kanti Das told The Daily Star last night.
AL General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam requested all central committee members to attend the meeting.
