Azam Khan shifted to CMH
The country's Pop Guru and freedom fighter Azam Khan, with his health condition being unimproved, was moved to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka Cantonment last night.
Meanwhile, President Zillur Rahman visited the ailing pop star at Square Hospital around 11:30am in the city where he had been undergoing treatment since May 22.
Dr Quamaruzzaman Chowdhury of Square Hospital said Khan's family wanted him to be shifted to CMH to cut medical expenses.
One of the relatives of Azam Khan said the president asked us if he had anything to do for Azam Khan. After we said it would be helpful for us if he can be moved to CMH, the president ordered necessary arrangement for shifting him to CMH.
