DU computer programming contest tomorrow
National Computer Programming Contest-2011 will begin at Dhaka University (DU) tomorrow, says a press release.
Organised by DU computer science and engineering department in association with science and ICT ministry, the competition aims to encourage students into computer programming.
DU Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof AAMA Arefin Siddique would inaugurate the two-day event.
Seventy-eight teams from 17 public and 35 private universities will participate including 50 female teams in a seperate contest.
State Minister for Science and ICT Yeafesh Osman and State Minister for Children and Women Affairs Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury would attend as the chief and special guests.
