Teacher sued
A suicide provocation case was filed against the Tanore school headmaster on Wednesday night following his alleged wrongdoing with his girl student in his office room on the day.
Mokhlesur Rahman, headmaster of Chanduria Abu Bakar High School, went into hiding after victim's mother Rashida Khatun filed a case against him with Tanore Police Station, said SI Rafikul Islam, investigating officer of the case.
The schoolteacher called Shanchita Khatun, 15, a student of class IX, to his office room over phone on Wednesday morning and released her one hour later though summer vacation was going on. Returning to her house, the schoolgirl hanged herself from the ceiling.
The victim's mother Rashida demanded proper investigation into the incident for justice. “I lost whatever treasure I had. Now, I want justice,” she said.
