Man arrested with arms
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) recovered three firearms and arrested the "firearms trader" in Sujanagar Malda Colony area in Rajshahi city yesterday.
The arms include a pistol, two guns, and a magazine with one bullet from the possession of Kanchu alias Ashraf, 40, of the area.
A Rab press release said they detained Ashraf while he was entering a private hostel in the area with a bag of ammunitions.
Ashraf was engaged in purchasing and selling arms to different districts including Rajshahi, said the release.
