Tragic!
Three-year-old Rupa Akter was sleeping on the floor of her house while her parents were out of doors yesterday noon.
Two labourers came to the house to bring a paddy-harvesting machine (maraikal) outside. As they were carrying the heavy machine, it suddenly slipped from their hands and fell on the sleeping girl leaving her dead right away.
Rupa was daughter of Dulal Mia of Kamarkanda village in Bhairab.
Shahjahan, OC of Bhairab, said no one came to the police station in this connection.
