Obituary
Prof Tahmina Alom, a teacher of History Department of Rajshahi University (RU), passed away at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Friday at the age of 49, says a press release.
Her namaz-e-janaza was held on Government Laboratory School premises after Juma prayers.
She was buried at the Kadirganj graveyard in the city.
RU Vice-chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan and Pro vice-chancellor Prof Muhammad Nurullah condoled her death.
