Woman stabbed to death
A woman was stabbed to death at one stage of quarrel with the husband of her friend in front of Raj Laxmi Complex in the city's Uttara area early yesterday.
The dead was identified as Mala Begum, 22, wife of Amin Miah of Dolipara in Uttara.
Fatema's husband Hasan had a quarrel with Mala over a cellphone which he borrowed few days back from the victim but did not return. At one stage of quarrel Hasan stabbed Mala in the abdomen.
Mala was taken to DMCH where she died.
