Yaba tablets seized, one held
Police recovered 390 pieces of Yaba tablets from a truck and arrested the truck driver at Alanker intersection in the port city yesterday.
The arrestee was identified as Kabir Ahmed, 30, son of late Ekhlasur Rahman of Noapara of Teknaf in Cox's Bazar.
Police said acting on a tip-off, a team of police led by Sub-inspector Fazlul Haque stopped a Comilla-bound truck from Cox's Bazar in front of Green Line bus counter at Alanker intersection and seized the Yaba tablets from the possession of the truck driver.
