Biman awarded by Changi airport
The Changi airport authorities of Singapore have awarded "growth incentive scheme" to Biman Bangladesh Airlines for transporting more passengers in 2010 than the previous year on Dhaka-Singapore-Dhaka route.
The amount of the award money is 81,288 Singaporean dollars.
Biman operated 192 flights and transported 34,080 passengers and 232 tonnes of cargo in 2009-2010.
Now, Biman Bangladesh Airlines operates its flight to Singapore five days a week.
