Formalin mixed grapes destroyed
A mobile court yesterday seized and destroyed 50 kg of grapes treated with formalin from three different shops at Hatirpool kitchen market in the city.
Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institute (BSTI) with the help of district administration and Rab-2 conducted the drive, which was led by Executive Magistrate Mohammad Al-Amin, says a press release.
BSTI sought cooperation for their ongoing drive against adulterated foods.
