RMG worker found dead in crematorium
Police recovered the burnt body of an adolescent garment worker from a crematorium at Dakshin Kattali of Pahartali in the port city yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Panna Rani Das, 18, a worker of Jalal Shah garment, daughter of Dhanasanjoy Das. She was living with her sister in a slum at Dakshin Kattali.
Quoting family members,' police said Panna could not be found in the morning and after a long search, the family members found her burnt body at the crematorium adjacent to Hori Mandir (a temple). She was collecting rainwater in pots at about 12:00 midnight, family sources said.
