Road crashes kill two
Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Pabna and Bagerhat yesterday.
Our Pabna correspondent reports: A motorcyclist was killed as a speedy bus hit the motorbike while he was trailing the motorbike after repairing on Pabna-Rajshahi highway in front of Muladuli College at Ishwardi upazila yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Md Nasiruddin, 35, a motorbike mechanic, of village Muladuli.
A correspondent from Bagerhat says: A passer-by was killed under the wheels of a goods-laden pickup van on Dhaka-Khulna highway in front of Dashani Circuit House at Sadar upazila yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Keramat Ali Morol, 70, of Karapara village of the same upazila.
Police seized the pickup van.
