Road crashes kill two
Two minor boys were killed and another schoolgirl was injured in separate road accidents in Rajshahi and Thakurgaon yesterday.
Our staff correspondent from Rajshahi reports: A six-year-old boy was killed as a speedy truck crushed him while he was going to polling centre with his mother on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj road at Godagari upazila yesterday.
The deceased is identified as Mehedi Hasan, son of Mamunur Rashid of Chhayghati village of Deopara.
Our Thakurgaon correspondent adds: A primary school student was killed and his fellow injured as a goods-laden truck hit them while they were going to school on Thakurgaon-Haripur road at Birgarh village of Haripur upazila yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Shajib, 7, son of Neki Mohammad of Birgarh village of Haripur upazila.
