Two killed in city road accidents
A female hawker and worker of a tailoring shop were killed in two road accidents in the city's Uttata yesterday.
Aleya Begum, 17, crushed under wheels of a local bus of Abdullapur-Gulistan route at Azampur around 10:15 am.
Aleya of Ashulia who used to sell chocolate in buses was trying to cross the road under Azampur foot over bridge, said police.
Police arrested driver of the bus Maznu Miah along with his bus.
Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
Meanwhile, a vehicle in front of Shahjalal International Airport ran over a tailoring shop employee, Anisur Rahman, 30, of Shajahanpur at Motijheel early yesterday.
