Economic terrorism?

After watching the headlines of the TV channels I came to know that BNP and Jamaat-e- Islami again called a countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal on 12th and 13th June with a view to protesting the cancellation of the caretaker government system. I think hartal is not the legal way to stop the amendment on the caretaker government provision. They should join the meeting on constitutional amendment and question its legality. Hartal creates not only inconvenience and nuisance; it is also tantamount to an economic boycott. Why should we not regard the call for hartal as an act of economic terrorism when the citizens of a free country (buyers, sellers, shop owners, business executives, transportation workers, students, etc) are forced to stay at home? We never expect such programmes from the opposition party of our country.
