3 judges leave for Cambodia
Three judges of International Crimes Tribunal dealing with cases relating to crimes against humanity in 1971 left Dhaka yesterday for a three-day visit to Cambodia.
The judges will visit Extraordinary Chambers in Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), holding trial of war crimes charges in that country, to gather experience, M Shahinur Islam, registrar of the tribunal told The Daily Star.
The tribunal Chairman Nizamul Huq and its members Justice ATM Fazle Kabir and Justice AKM Zaheer Ahmed will return to Bangladesh on June 16, he said.
