Internet connection in district courts soon
The government has taken steps to make internet connection available in all district courts so orders of the High Court can be sent to those in 24 hours, Law Minister Shafique Ahmed told parliament yesterday.
It has initiated the process with a view to minimise the delay in sending HC orders to the district courts.
On transparency of war crimes trial, the law, justice and parliamentary affairs minister said the International Crimes Tribunal was formed in light of the International Crimes (Tribunal) Act, 1973.
The tribunal is independent, transparent and neutral, he said in a scripted answer.
